| This miniature roll-top desk was
designed to hold a computer and accessories in a psychologist's
office, making the keyboard and monitor accessible but without the
user sitting behind a conventional desk. It is cherry and made with
a variety of techniques giving an interesting interplay of
surfaces. The lower unit is made of frame and panel sections, and
the upper unit, which lifts off for the installation of the
monitor, is solid wood joined at the back corners with dovetails.
The doors in the base unit open on concealed miniature European
cabinet hinges.
