This walnut end table was inspired by the architecture and furniture making of Japan. It is made with mortise and tenon joints with the through tenons expanded on the outside of the mortises with cherry wedges. As a furniture craftsman, I have enjoyed the stimulation of our diverse cultural heritage, while adhering to the proven techniques that have given works from all cultures lasting meaning and value. |
